Biography
Mr. Masterman is a Senior Appraiser with The Mentor Group. He is proficient in the appraisal of personal property, specializing in manufacturing process machinery and data processing equipment. Mr. Masterman has provided expert witness testimony regarding fair market, residual, and liquidation values of all types of machinery and equipment.
Among the facilities/industries valued by Mr. Masterman are machine shops; sheet metal, plastics, automobile/trucks, rubber, and chemical manufacturing; data processing; printing and lithography; aerospace; communications-radio, television, and film; die casting; pharmaceuticals; clothing; electronic production; mining; woodworking; plating; construction; farming; medical and dental offices, laboratories, hospitals, and care homes; restaurants; recording studios; and retail.
Prior to The Mentor Group, Mr. Masterman was self-employed as a personal property appraiser. He has also bought and sold production equipment. Previous experience includes machinery, chemical and industrial companies, such as Lewis Machinery, Heinz Machinery, Tidewater Oil Co., Yosemite Chemical Co., and Cutter Laboratories.
