Present Position
Philip F. Yu, ASA is a senior real estate and equipment appraiser affiliated with The Mentor Group, which is located at 1775 East Palm Canyon Drive, suite 110-132, Palm Springs, California.
Professional Affiliations
Mr. Yu is a licensed and certified general real estate appraiser in the state of Arizona.
He specializes in performing appraisals of all types of major industrial, commercial and agricultural properties on a regional and national basis.
Experience
Active in the appraisal profession since 1970, he has prepared appraisals of real estate holdings including land, buildings, and machinery and equipment; and has prepared valuations of all types of major industrial and commercial properties.
He has prepared analysis for purposes of sale/purchase, insurance, fair rental, financing, ad valorem taxes, condemnation, feasibility, purchase price allocation, property records, fiduciary review, sale/leaseback structuring and business planning. He has also appeared as an expert witness for judicial valuation.
Employment
Mr. Yu is a senior appraiser of The Mentor Group. Prior employment includes fifteen years as an appraisal director with a national appraisal company, Marshall & Stevens.
Education
Mr. Yu holds a B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Manitoba, Canada. Additionally, he has attended and completed numerous courses and seminars related to valuation science
